The Bitcoin 2021 conference in Miami was compared to the nightmarish Fyre Festival. Organizer David Baily said the bottleneck lines were caused because of substantial security checks. One attendee said the event was 4x oversold and that he was forced to wait in line for 4 hours in the heat with his wife on their anniversary, proclaiming that he will never be back and that he will be getting a full refund.
